This book has been sitting on my coffee table for the past 6 months. I bought it from Indigo one day in the summer because of the line on the front that says “Make meetings matter by using brain-compatible techniques.”
I don’t want to say I do that already, but I do that already. I guess maybe because we are in the field of teaching, some of the stuff in the book seems obvious.
However, I must say… I continue to work diligently at making meetings matter. My latest thought is that when people at meetings are “doing” or “talking” rather than listening, things are more meaningful for sure.
Condition of the book: sits on the shelf at home, not sticky notes, not writing, no bent pages, looks new….
